I'm so sorry. That is just lame. First, you've posted your photo, and you DO NOT look like a grandmother. Second, it seems kind of like, "when are you due?" Don't ask unless you absolutely, positively are sure. Of course, students think that anyone over 21 is like 60 anyway, so I wouldn't take it too personally.

LOL. 1) I can't imagine you could pass for anyone's grandmother and 2) clearly, said student belongs in the same circle of hell as the waitress who asked me, when I was 7 months pregnant, if I was having twins (and need I mention that she was not anywhere near a waif herself? Not that I'm bitter). You know you've got a good post when you get me to admit to the above.


ahahahaha stupid undergraduates. Really, I think they have very little perception of age other than "grown-up" (i.e. over 30 or so, or else just nicely dressed).
